We matched pictures to adjectives today. The kids really loved this activity!

We used water colors and painters tape to make "Initial Art". Pretty cute, I think!

We matched number chosts to candy corn number words and addition problems.

We took a break from blends, diagraphs, parts of speech, related facts, and Mesopotamia to have a little fun today! Happy Birthday Drew!

Anemometers

We are continuing with our study of weather. Today, we discussed how measuring the wind is an intregal part of forecasting the weather, and we built our own anemometers! Tomorrow and Wednesday, we will build our own weather vanes as well.

Pumpkin Patch

First and foremost, I am SO sorry it's been over a week since my last posting! I wasn't feeling 100% last week and was super busy...but to make up for that, here are some fun pictures from today's field trip to the pumpkin patch!!!

While we were there, I purchased some apple bread from the store for a taste test! I wonder if you can tell from the pictures who liked it and who didn't. =)
