One of the many different Shared Reading strategies we use in Multiage is partner reading. The children really enjoy reading together. Sometimes the students take turns reading page by page, or choose to read chorally. Other times an older, more fluently-reading student will pair up with a younger emergent reader to model word attack skills and fluency. No matter what their choices may be, this is certainly a favorite activity of our multiage friends!
